Irem has actively worked in the fields of food science, nutrition and dietetics in all processes from farm to fork and from prenatal nutrition to medical nutrition therapies, and dedicated herself to these fields.
She performed in hospitals, clinics, universities, food labs, and the dairy industry for more than 15 years. More specifically, she has experience in medical nutrition therapy, nutritional epidemiology, food chemistry, food microbiology, HACCP, sanitation and hygiene, starter culture, and dairy technology as a registered dietitian, a dairy technologist, a lab technician, and a research & teaching assistant.
She loves both human studies and cellular studies. She would like to contribute to the development of novel technologies in food science and nutrition. For this purpose, she pursues her graduate studies.
Although one of her greatest passions is healing people with her personalized medical nutrition therapy, she is not able to give medical nutrition consultations to her patients now. Thank you for your interest.
